Welcome to Malmö’s Church of Scientology
Our reception extends a welcome to anyone wishing to obtain an introduction to Dianetics and Scientology. We are open morning to evening.

The Scientology Public Information Center
Our Public Information Center offers some 500 films, providing a complete introduction to every aspect of Dianetics and Scientology—including the beliefs and practices of the religion and the many humanitarian initiatives and community outreach programs our Church sponsors.

Here, too, is a biographical presentation on the life and legacy of our Founder, L. Ron Hubbard. Visitors are welcome to tour the displays at their leisure for as long as they wish and to return as often as they like.

The Arcade
The grand arcade, allowing views of the surrounding parkland year-round, leads from our main Church facility to the adjoining Chapel and Café.

The Café
Our Café welcomes those touring the Church or attending our many scheduled events, and provides for parishioners on break from their Scientology services.

The Chapel
The Chapel naturally accommodates all Scientology congregational ceremonies and services—including Sunday Services, Weddings and Naming Ceremonies. It further serves as a venue for weekly Church graduations and is perfectly suited for public lectures, workshops and community events. The Chapel building is the creation of renowned Swedish architect Klas Anshelm and is, in and of itself, a local landmark.

Introductory Services
Our Church provides for the delivery of all Introductory Services. These include evening and weekend Dianetics and Scientology seminars that impart an overview of fundamental principles and their application in life.

Among the many further Introductory Services available are courses for the study of Mr. Hubbard’s books and lectures. There is also an array of Scientology Life Improvement Courses to empower anyone with tools to improve any aspect of life—including personal integrity and relationships, marriage and the raising of children, organizing for success and achieving one’s goals.

The Purification Center
L. Ron Hubbard developed the Purification Program to free individuals from the mental and spiritual damage caused by drugs and toxins, through a regimen of exercise, sauna and nutrition—all of which are provided for in our Purification Center.

For parishioners who wish to exercise outdoors, the center opens directly to the surrounding parkland.

The Hubbard Guidance Center
The Hubbard Guidance Center is where Scientologists participate in one-on-one spiritual counseling, known as auditing.

The Academy
The Academy is where Scientologists train to become auditors (spiritual counselors), capable of applying the technology of auditing to help others attain spiritual freedom. The Malmö Academy comprises nearly an entire floor of our Church, with multiple course rooms, each devoted to a different aspect of training.

As is traditional in all Churches of Scientology, the Office of L. Ron Hubbard stands in honor of our Founder and symbolizes that this Church is true to his writings and ideals.

It is with great pride we welcome you to the Church of Scientology Malmö.

Since 1972, we have served a growing congregation among the diverse cultural communities of Skåne. Today, we are honored to extend our help to all of southern Sweden from our home in Arlöv—a magnificent example of modern Scandinavian architecture known as “the building in the park, the park in the building.”

Our Church realizes Scientology Founder L. Ron Hubbard’s vision that all Churches of Scientology become what he termed Ideal Organizations (Orgs). Ideal Orgs not only provide the ideal facilities for Scientologists on their ascent to higher states of spiritual awareness and freedom, but they also serve as a home for the entire community and a meeting ground of cooperative effort to uplift people of all denominations.

In this regard, we look forward to working on an entirely new scale with every individual and group dedicated to achieving our shared dream of a drug-free, crime-free and flourishing future for all.

GRAND OPENING

Mr. David Miscavige opened the new European Church of Scientology on April 4, 2009, in the Swedish seacoast city of Malmö. Those in attendance hailed from 32 nations, including Britain, Belgium, France, Germany, Russia, Israel, Iraq and Uganda. They gathered to celebrate a historic day: dedication of the 72,000-square-foot landmark Church of Scientology, acquired, designed, renovated and opened in less than six months.
